Making sure she gets one last hug from her husband, Tyler or her puppy, Birdie (ideally both), she’s out the door of their home in Hudson heading toward her second home, Japa Salon. Walking thru the doors of Japa, where she’s dedicated the last 18 years, her feelings of love and pride have never changed. Always happy to lend a hand, organize something, or engage in heartfelt conversations with clients—be it about good books or life's twists and turns—Julie fills the salon with her warmth and expertise.

Once she’s behind the chair, Julie brings dedication and the knowledge from her extensive training around the country to ensure every guest enjoys an experience that is both fulfilling and rejuvenating. She loves crafting all the precision cuts, creating beautiful brunettes and radiant redheads, and helping her guests thru tough transitions too!

Walking thru her own front door, she’s greeted by her smiling pup (literally), and it’s time to decompress. In the winter, comfy clothes are a must immediately! Then it’s time to catch up on all the shows and books she didn’t get to in the summer. Once the weather turns warm, if she’s not out on her patio with a good book or playing cribbage with her hubby, she’ll be walking down by the river with Birdie or out on the golf course. She’s always up for a new adventure or trying out a new restaurant on the weekends!
